Dear friend and colleagues, September 7, 2022 will mark the start of the 13th Congress of the WFNMB with a pre-opening ceremony at 17:30, local time in Kyoto. Please refer to the world clock weblink in order to account for the time difference between your city and Kyoto (https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/?sort=0). Tokyo and Kyoto are in the same time zone. The formal opening of the Congress will be on September 8th at 11:00, local time. During the ceremony, Pr. Koichi Tanaka will deliver the keynote lecture entitled “Contributions to the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease using analytical and medical technologies” . Besides the regular sessions, Plenary lectures will also be given every day on specific and relevant topics (http://www2.c-linkage.co.jp/wfnmb2022/program/#keynote). Today, I was privileged to see the main ballroom and I can assure you that the venue reflects the highly refined artsy and flower arranging excellence of the Japanese culture. There is no doubt that the 13th Congress of the WFNMB in Japan will be a landmark Congress celebrating the Renaissance of Nuclear Medicine and the marvelous Japanese Culture and Society.
